Future of Media
The following video shows how important media in classrooms already are and why it gets increasingly important to integrate them into lessons. By asking critical question the video attracts everyones attention and makes the viewer reflective. Moreover, it refers to the KIM study that tries to find out how often children use the internet, when and why they use it and whether they use it for school or as a learning software or for other reasons.
_ Since media are already getting more and more important
in current classroom, they will definitely make up a big share in future ones.
In my opinion nearly all schools will be equipped with media related tools in the near future. I think it is really important to introduce pupils to a proper use of media products already at a young age in order to establish a sensible understanding of media, computers and the use of the internet. It is important to show them the possible risks as well as its great diversity of advantages. Which means that teachers really need a well-proofed knowledge, thus, they have to be trained regularly.
Moreover media will be a big topic in almost all areas of life. Regarding the developing of medicine, more media-related products will be introduced. It could be possible that doctors are substituted by robots, that telemedicine will be established nationwide, that people with cardiac insufficiency are implanted with a chip that raises an alarm if the heart does not beat properly.
That was just a short overview on possible changes which might happen in the near future.
Nevertheless, the world will change and thus, more media related products and techniques will definitely be invented and introduced.

the everyday Life in 2020
Both of the videos give a general overview on how life might look like in 2020. Whereas the first one focuses on daily routines in 2020, the second one refers to new media and innovations. Moreover, it looks ahead by questioning current social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter or simply newspapers.
e-learning
The video shows the so-called eLSA project, which just takes place in Austria, but nevertheless it is interesting to see how media related projects could work.
Reflection
_ As you can see in the videos new media are getting
more and more important in the near future. New media should help forming lessons
which are more effective and thus learning will be more efficiently. Furthermore,
new media should help forming an attractive learning atmosphere.
As already mentioned above, pupils should be introduced to new media at an early age in order to make them aware of certain technologies and its developments in which they have to be interested and with which they have to work with in later life. Regarding later occupations it is really important to have a founded education in computer skills such as creating presentations, a basic knowledge in office programs, as well as being aware of writing a CV and a job application properly.
In today´s society nearly all jobs require good computer skills. This fact definitely won´t change in the near future, in contrast to that, a further and deeper knowledge will be necessary in order to fulfill the job requirements adequately. Therefore it is necessary to update classrooms with "new" technologies such as smartboards, internet access, laptops and many more. Today´s classrooms have to be equipped in relatively high modern standards in order to prepare pupils for later life. Moreover, teachers have to be aware of certain tools and they should be ready to explain to their pupils the importance of its usage. Teachers should act as role models themselves since their pupils tend to look up to them. All in all, schools need to set more than just the “cornerstone”. They should rather offer a proofed, well- founded training which disposes for later life.
